
Mary Karagianni B.Sc., M.Sc.
Biologist, Clinical Embryologist
Mary Karagianni is a Clinical Embryologist. She is a graduate of the Department of Biology, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her internship in a medically assisted reproduction Clinic and her diploma with thesis on the subject of DNA fragmentation of spermatozoa (DFI) set her on the way for her interest in assisted reproduction. In 2016 she completed her post-graduate studies in ‘Reproductive-Regenerative Medicine’ in the Department of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, her thesis being on the subject of In-vitro Maturation (IVM) and vitrification protocols.
She has been working in medically assisted reproduction Clinics since 2010 in Thessaloniki and Athens and was head of the embryology and andrology laboratory for 6 years.
She is a member of the Pan-Hellenic Association of Clinical Embryologists (PEKE) as well as European Society of Human for Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) from 2013. As of 2017 she has been a member of Embryolab’s team of clinical embryologists.
